Hope International Christian Academy (HICA) is a faith-based educational institution established under the spiritual foundation of Spirit of Hope International Ministries. We are committed to nurturing academic excellence, moral integrity, and spiritual growth in a Christ-centered environment.
From humble beginnings in a home basement to an international ministry, Spirit of Hope International Ministries has grown under divine guidance and the leadership of Bishop Augustine Y. Duncan Sr. and Prophetess Tomah Y. Duncan.
The ministry was founded on November 25, 2009, in the home of Rev. and Prophetess Tomah Duncan with just four members, following a divine vision revealed to Rev. Augustus Y. Duncan earlier that month.
Spirit of Hope began expanding its mission, uniting communities in faith and hope, while emphasizing the importance of vision, purpose, and spiritual growth.
The ministry started outreach programs and educational initiatives, laying the groundwork for establishing Hope International Christian Academy in alignment with its Christ-centered values.
Bishop Augustine Y. Duncan Sr. returned to Liberia after years in the United States to focus on community development, building schools, and offering scholarships to less fortunate children.

The ministry expanded its branches internationally, establishing one in Liberia with plans for Sierra Leone, continuing its mission to inspire hope and purpose in communities beyond borders.
